KAKTUS Hotel Benikaktus

This hotel deserves more than 3*. Check in was seamless. Great location with views across Benidorm. Rooms were exceptionally clean, comfortable and the shower was really good plus nice fluffy towels. We had bed & breakfast, again the breakfast area had the great view and a nice ambience, a good choice of food and the service was excellent. Overall the hotel offers fantastic value for money.

Second time to stay here, excellent views of promenade & levante beach. Super fast, efficient and friendly check in earlier than 3pm. Room immaculately clean, bright & warm, very welcoming as it was quite chilly outside. Beds really comfy but 2 singles instead of a double requested. Best to ask at check in. Shower the best I've found yet, waterfall/rain shower plus a hand held shower. Fabulous! Balcony with sliding windows so not possible to actually go outside onto balcony. Separate toilet quite small with sliding door. Small fridge in room very welcome but doesn't hold much. Quite a steep hill to walk up to hotel main reception entrance but manageable & worth it, if you stop every now and then. Another entrance near swimming pool/bar level is less demanding, up a concrete path with a ramp, brings you into the bar area where 2 lifts take you to your level. Pool quite small. Food - only tried breakfast as RO and very good for the price (8 euros). Would def go again for the good sleeps, brill shower & views.

What a find this hotel was! Just a stone's throw from Levante beach you step right into the heart of Benidorm. We arrived way before check in but that was no bother and we were given the cards to our room. My request of a high floor was granted and we were put on the 8th floor. We were absolutely blown away by the view, it was stunning. The room was modern, clean and bright with a huge bed and a handy fridge. The bathroom was lovely with a waterfall shower. An additional sofa bed and table and chairs were located in the area where you slide the windows open to embrace the view. Just sitting there looking out was so relaxing. We were half board and found the food lovely. There was plenty of choice with each dish marked clearly. There are stunning views of the sea and skyscrapers from the restaurant and bar area where you can watch the sun go down. Everyone is so lovely at the hotel, so polite and can't do enough for you. The ladies that cleaned the room daily work so hard - it was spotless each day. This is our third time in Benidorm and we've now found our hotel that we will return to in the future.

I would recommend the Benikaktus as it is a hidden gem. Its location is ideal. The food was excellent but the room was exceptional. Each room has a sea view overlooking the beach and the bay. Very friendly and attentive staff. I will definitely book again next time I am in Benidorm

Checking in took 5 minutes, Antonio very friendly and explained hotel, room was ready, a great bonus. Hotel in a great position with fabulous views across the bay from rooms, restaurant and bar. Food very good and hot . Varied except for dessert’s which were same most nights. Rooms are clean with a fab balcony/conservatory. Heated swimming pool. Staff mostly very friendly. Bar prices were fine. Negatives:- nowhere to dry your wet swimwear etc. Entertainment repetitive, same 6 nights running. No shades for sun loungers. Sun hits hotel p.m. Would I return, DEFINITELY.

Really lovely hotel in a great location. Staff were friendly and helpful, especially on reception. Food was consistently good and varied. Decent value for money. I particularly loved the 'daybed' on the balcony. I would not hesitate to stay there again. The only downside was the steep hill to get to the main entrance, but much better if you use the bar entrance/exit.
