Some noise from surrounding apartments, particularly one night when there was quite a lot of shouting and singing from one of the apartments above the bedroom.

Could have done with extra towels or a change of towels Wish there was cooking oil or a little coffee rather than buying for 4 days and leaving it behind

— Communication was super chaotic and caused unnecessary stress. As requested, I sent them my arrival time and flight details more than a week in advance, but 2 managers kept ignoring it and asking again. The last time was when I was already in the plane, so I had to agree to their last minute time suggestion and hurry from the airport, and even then they didn’t wait at the door — I had to text them and wait with my suitcases in the street. It’s disrespectful and unprofessional. Worse of all, they don’t come for check out and told me to leave the keys inside and shut the door, but to leave the building you need the keys to one of the front doors (that door is far away from the apartment and closes automatically so you cannot hold it while leaving the key). In a hurry to the airport, I haven’t thought of that so I had to search for an awake neighbor at 7 am to let me out cos after leaving the keys I was locked in and the manager ignored all my messages and calls! — The bathroom sink was flooding so badly I had to use the kitchen sink instead. They fixed it after I texted, but I had to spend time sorting this when such things must be fixed during cleaning before my arrival. — The bed is incredibly uncomfortable, especially the pillows that are as hard as rock and twice higher than normal human neck. I had to use the cushions instead and that still gave me neck pain every morning. — The advertised 4 stars are a clear deception given that the apartment‘s quality and services don’t fit the minimal requirements that even a 3 star hotel room would give you, like a comfy bed and occasional cleaning (here, they refused to even provide enough toilet paper cos “the cleaning is only done once”). — Sound isolation is horrible even for an old building like this.

Comfortable with everything we needed…older building with lots of character…. Unit had been recently updated.
