The bathroom has a strong sewer smell, and the room can hear the sound of the elevator going up and down. There is a building under construction next to the building, which is very noisy! Not suitable for living. We rented it for a total of 6 nights. The big bathroom didn't smell much on the first day, so we didn't notice it. The second day, the stench became strong and the smell spread to the kitchen. They sent engineers to deal with it, but it didn't solve the problem. They suggested that we find another place to live, but we didn't have time to rearrange it to find a new place because we were traveling. They mentioned several times that the rating on Booking.com was 9.6 and the rating on other platforms was 9.9, but I want to know that the problem exists and the score is not everything. They reiterated that the problem was not the apartment itself, but external factors. The problem stems from the ongoing construction of neighboring buildings owned by the Barcelona City Council, as well as the sewer and pipe systems. They also suggested that we could complain to the City Council. This time I really learned a lesson

“The host, Marta and her husband are very nice. There is laundry inside the apartment.”

I like how clean the apartment is. The location is awesome. It’s close to metro and walking distance to restaurants. I like that this apartment has laundry because it helps not having to look for laundry mat. The host met us right when we got off the taxi and we did not have to wait for him. They also gave us a little gift which was nice.

To be improved

I wish the bathrooms were bigger. Otherwise, I have no complaints.
