“Clean, comfortable and good value”
The best

Koba is in a great location 5 minutes from Zurriola beach and in the Gros neighbourhood near plenty of great pintxos bars, about a 20 minute walk from La Concha beach and the old town too. The facilities were clean and comfortable, though it would have been nice to have a curtain on the top bunks as well as the bottom. The staff were friendly and really helpful, even arranging breakfast for us to take on an early train ride on the day we left. Included breakfast was great, with bread, cheese, ham, tomato, jam, coffee (oat and dairy milk provided), cereals, fruits, tortilla and sweet treats too. The kitchen was so great to have to save money on meals and the dining area, lounge and terrace were good spots to relax. I would stay again!

“Cozy and affordable hostel in a great location!”
The best

A nice location on a quieter street! The room that I stayed in was really nice and I appreciated the privacy curtain. I appreciated how the hostel seemed environmentally conscious. They had a great breakfast and some nice areas to relax outside of the room.

To be improved

The bathroom in our room was relatively small, but we made it work for 8 people! Thankfully there is an additional bathroom in the main area of the hostel.

“Lovely hostel in Donostia”
The best

I like the decor, the comfort of the bed and the room, the bathroom and the excellent location. I got an individual room but I also shared breakfast table with other guest who were doing ‘el Camino’ and that was an unexpected bonus of the stay! I really enjoyed hearing their adventures and plans.

To be improved

Maybe the noise coming from the bars below the room…. Not ideal if you are looking for a quiet siesta time ! But that’s summer in the city so not sure what the hostel can do about it :)

The best

Very kind and helpful staff. Got excellent service when I had an issue. The location is good, near the beach. It is nice that the hostel offers breakfast. I also liked the terrace.

To be improved

The shower was a bit annoying. It had one of those push buttons, so after one minute the water would stop running.
