“Very comfortable apartment, really good night's sleep and a nice relaxed resort.”

It was a self-catering apartment with a really well equipped kitchen. The whole apartment was beautiful with two bedrooms, one bathroom and a through lounge-kitchen. Lovely little balcony with a view to the sea. One flight of stairs up to apartment and a short flight of steps down from the main flat patio area. Then you cross the main road with a short flight of steps down to the beach. Lovely soft sandy beach, not pebbly. Lots of beach loungers etc all along the beach right up the marina. The apartment is also really close to restaurants and bars with a special shout-out to Palm 5 Beach Bar right on the promenade looking out over the sea, two minutes from where you enter the beach - brilliant cocktails and a really friendly Dutch bar owner. The Pina Coladas were delicious! Very good value of money and in a very secure development. Also very quiet all day and night. The blinds in the bedrooms are great and the beds really comfortable. Air-con in the main living area and fans in the two bedrooms - but they do the job well. Mini-golf just behind the apartment - really good fun! You can walk to the beautiful marina, which has a huge array of shops and restaurants and which was our favourite part of Benalmadena. La Laguna restaurant was our favourite - lovely veg Paella sitting out on their outdoor patio on the first floor. Takes around 20 minutes to reach the marina walking along the lovely promenade at a steady pace. Bus to Mijas Pueblo is also around about a 5-10 mins walk away. Really nice day out with about a 45 minute bus ride. Oscar's Pizzeria have delicious gespacho and garlic bread. Really nice, easy relaxed holiday, thank you very much to Koti Rentals.

To be improved

The air-con overflowed and needed us to empty a big container on the balcony - maybe that could be seen to. Quite a tricky front door locking system - just don't leave the keys on the outside of the door when you come in as you won't be able to get out (which my husband did!). Again, once you know it's not a problem. Also, make sure you have good connection on your phone when you first arrive as you need it to enter the property.

“Fabulous, we will definitely rebook again”

The best

It was like going to a home from home, although we didn’t cook, the kitchen had all the essentials you would need. The location is in a lovely private and quiet location. Restaurants and beach with beautiful walkway is literally on your doorstep.

To be improved

Although air conditioning was available in the main area, the bedrooms with fans could get quite warm
