L Esquella Restaurante hostal

They allowed pets, they were friendly, it was quiet.

L'Esquella was one the most welcoming Hostal's I have ever been. The rooms and bathrooms were extremely clean, simple but had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. Definitely value for your money. And the best part was the friendly and warm service by all the staff. The restaurant food was also great and there is the added bonus of a pool table and foozeball if you are there with a group. The location is also great, only steps away from the Setcases bus stop and the Cal Nuria local store. Can't recommend enough.

Excellent value for money. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, and the staff are very helpful. If you plan to start early, they'll prepare your breakfast the night before and leave it ready for you in the bar.

I loved our experience here! The staff was lovely and very helpful. Our room was clean and the beds were comfy and very warm. The kitchen was able to accomodate vegetarian meals too which was a great plus! Finally, I loved how close it was to the mountain for skiing. I want to come back soon!

The owner is very helpful. I came when basically everything in Setcases was closed (very late during the season and in the middle of the week). All the restaurants in the village, including the one belonging to the hostal were closed yer he prepared something easy to eat, arranged for an early breakfast. If you ask him about the surrounding mountains you will be provided with a lot of info or tour suggestions.

Good price for the accomodation offered. Very friendly owner and a bar that he runs.
