“Excellent in every way”

The property was more than we hoped for. Situated right in the heart of old town. Shops, restaurants right on our doorstep. Very easy walking distance to the cathedral and castle. One and a half blocks to buses numbers 1,8 and 11 which go down the coast to so many beaches. Everything worked in the apartment, very comfy bed and good bathroom. A little noisy at night but earplugs sorted that out. Definitely a great choice and one we would book again.

The shower hose had to be held in your hand as the fitment on the wall was broken

The apartment was big and beautiful

It was very very loud, there were several restaurants and bars right in front of the house, and the windows were not good enough. The door of the house was very noisy, you could hear everyone coming and going. The communication with the landlord was very bad, it took several days to get an answer.

“Horrible experience.”

At midnight, the water system in the kitchen broke, when we were already sleeping. We had to hose the water out of the livingroom and bedroom. As the water pressure was very high, there was a fountain of water coming from the cupboard and the appartment was completely soaked. We called the owner, he didn´t come, just called us to ´fix it with some tool´. We had to go out on the street to find somebody to help us to close the pipes. We left the appartment, everything including our stuff was soaked. We called a nearby hotel to spend the night there. The owner promised us to pay these cost and we have never heard from him since.

“Good location, but the apartment itself not exactly as advertised.”

Confortable bed. Nice little kitchen. Apartment is by the way definitely NOT 75m2. More like half that size.

To be improved

The bathroom: -have to hold shower head, because it doesn’t fit in the holder in the wall. So very uncomfortable if you have to wash your hair. -water is warm for just 5-10 minutes, so if you’re 2 people, it’s impossible for 2nd person to have hot water. -ventilator is basically broken, makes lot of noise when switched on.
