La Cabañita

We loved our stay at La Cabanita - definitely one of the most relaxing places I've been. Although I'd read other guest reviews and seen their photos, nothing prepared me for the view when I opened the shutters on our first morning. Absolutely breathtaking. This was a fantastic base for walking, climbing and other activities. We explored the mountains during the day, then home to watch the sunset from the peace and tranquility of the hot tub. Fabulous. Antonio was the perfect host. He responded to any questions or queries very quickly and was keen to make sure we were having a lovely time. I honestly couldn't ask for more.

We loved every part of our stay at La Cabañita in Tejeda. The views, the hot tub and the barbecue were out of this world. If you want a local experience in Gran Canaria while enjoying clear skies at night with tons of stars and being able to hear the birds sing in the morning then this is for you. Antonio was the perfect host, although we didn’t meet him, his communication over text was quick and helpful (as we had a bit of trouble locating the property), he was also super friendly and happy to answer any questions or queries we had. 10/10 host! Catching the sunset while we were outside in the hot tub in the evening was unforgettable, some of the most beautiful pictures I’ve ever taken! Visiting the town of Tejeda was also a highlight and is definitely a must if you’re staying here, this part of the island feels very local which we loved. The drive may be tricky if you aren’t experienced but it is so worth it, the views are incredible and are once in a lifetime.

It's a great place with a fantastic view. A very good internet connection, I was working remotely there and had no problems at all. And I made the most beautiful BBQ in my life there!
