“Great value apartment. Has 2 large bedrooms with big beds. 2 bathrooms. Large lounge and conservatory area, as well as private and shared outdoor areas (including pool and padel court). Comes with beach towels. Secure parking available. · Cons: A little far from main town area (10 mins). But close to some shops and restaurants.”

The best

Much larger than expected, extensive kitchenware & utensils. Lovely private garden and great gardens & pool area. Excellent location for all that La Cala has to offer. Clara was very friendly and sorted out a leak in the kitchen very quickly.

To be improved

It felt quite dark, dingy and unloved. Couldn’t get the TV to work at all and no instructions. Very leaky shower which made the tiled floor soaking wet & dangerous. Very noisy on a busy junction.

The best

The apartment was very comfortable, with big bedrooms and well equipped bathrooms and kitchen. Cleaned to a very high standard. The location is great also - walkable distance to everything in La Cala. Great communication from the owner/manager, and I was able to check in a little early which was very much appreciated.

To be improved

It can be a little noisy from the road, but I slept with earplugs in so it didn't bother me. The covered terrace/sun room wasn't quite watertight, which I don't imagine is generally an issue, but it was a little damp in the torrential rain haha.

The best

The apartment was very spacious and had everything we needed. The host Clara was very responsive and helpful. The apartment was also very clean and there were lots of towels available to use for the pool. The wine and bag of chips was a lovely welcome gift.
