Although super close to everything, it's very quiet in the apartment. The place is lovely; spacious & clean, with beautiful sea views.

The apartment itself was beautiful, very spacious and spotlessly clean. It was a very pleasant short walk from the beach and from bars and restaurants. The kitchen was very well equipped with every gadget needed; even had a wine fridge. The rooms were very comfortable and the airconditioning was easy to use. The balcony was fantastic with a gorgeous view. Communication was great, very attentive - used whatsapp. Check in/out was simple. There was a pool in the complex but the fob to enter the pool area didn't work for us. That was ok - we enjoyed the nearby beach and didn't make any inquiries about the fob. There was a lot within walking distance - beach, supermarket, cafes, bars restaurants. Would definitely recommend the location and the apartment. We rented a car and this place had parking which was great. We needed a car because this was one of a few different stops for our vacation. If Costa Orihuela is your only destination, you don't really need a rental car. You can walk everywhere and the host actually offers airport transfer if needed.
