Small apartment in the very sweet village of Dúrcal. Made me feel right at home since i’m from a small village as well. The hosts were kind enough to even bring us some essentials for our stay, since it was very short, like salt, pepper, olive oil etc. and this was very helpful! The balcony was exceptional with its mountain views. The apartment we stayed in was one of many in the building, however privacy and noise was not an issue at all - we couldn’t hear any other guests and felt completely secluded. Also the public car park was around the corner with ample space for you to leave your car, which was also very ideal. It was simply a perfect stay!

“The apartment was very clean. It had no outdoor area but was a short walk to restaurants and shops.”

The best

The apartment was very clean. There was a 2 ring hob and microwave to cook with. The washer was easy to use. The apartment was only a couple of minutes walk from the local square, where there were bars and restaurants and shops. You are about half an hour from Granada and a short drive to the mountain range.

To be improved

There is no outdoor sitting area. An oven would have been good. A fan in the second bedroom would have made our stay more comfortable. Bed in first bedroom was squeaky and the mattress was quite lumpy. The people above had an outdoor terrace and would frequently drag the furniture which was very noisy for us, especially early in the morning.

Nothing at all to dislike but tea and coffee facilities on the room would have been good.
