We received a very warm welcome from the owner Jorge, who helped with our luggage. He was super helpful throughout our stay, providing useful information about the region. His wife Asunta prepared a homemade pizza for our evening meals which was the best we had ever eaten and Jorge cooked a Argentinian meal which was superb. The view across the ravine from the accommodation was stunning! Pinos Genil is ideally situated a few kilometres outside Granada, and on the road to the stunning Sierra Nevada and Embalse de Canales is a few kilometrers away. Pinos Genil is an ideal location with good restaurants along the river. Jorge and Asunta made our vacation special !

We were here just for a quick stopover, for one night, while we were riding around Granada on our motorbike. The owner was very kind, he recommended us a great restaurant, the motorbike was parked right in front of the entrance. Comfortable, clean. Thank you very much.

“A superb home from home, well equipped and very clean, ideally located, with very welcoming hosts.”

The best

Jorge & Asunta were lovely and very welcoming hosts and Jorge was there as arranged to greet us when we arrived. We paid extra to have homemade pizzas one evening - exceptional especially on a beautiful evening on the terrace overlooking the town and valley! The location was ideal for us, beautiful views, 200m walk to at least five restaurants, a supermarket two minutes away, and instant access onto the main road to Sierra Nevada. The property was a calm oasis to return to after a day's skiing. Free parking right outside the door and two terraces to relax on with your beer or wine. The property itself is a well equipped bedsit, tastefully decorated and very clean. A large comfortable double bed, a dining table, and small well equipped kitchen area. A well stocked breakfast basket was provided with a range of packeted items - more than adequate. There's also a sofa and TV if you need them. The bathroom is quite narrow and some might find it too restrictive but it is well equipped with plenty of hot water for us to have two long showers one after the other. Exceptional value for money and we look forward to returning one day soon.
