“The hell of the noise at Alameda apartments.”

The apartment Tete is nice and clean, but everything is spoiled by the incredible noise and the rude host.

So, the noise of the traffic outside is unbearable, even with the windows closed (if you can sleep with the air condition machines just above your heads), so no sleep at all for 2 nights. The pollution from the cars that enters through all the windows is something I haven’t experienced ever before and hopefully never again. As a bonus, there is o motorcycles parking on the little streets around the building and, why not, a construction work exactly on our apartment’s walls from 9 a.m. till 8 p.m.,because the owner totally didn’t care about the clients that paid to have a relaxing holiday. That host was so rude, at our complaint about the noise day and night, he said we should leave the apartment, this at 7 p.m. and our plane being the next morning at 4 a.m. I have never met such an impolite host: he didn’t inform us at what time we can make check in, even if I repeteadly have asked. I also asked for 2 pillows they forgot to leave for the sofa and the answer was: “tomorrow” and saying us to leave a paid apartment, because of complaining, which is not legal or moral. Booking.com should definitely cancel them from their platform. In fact, the reviews from tripadvisor are much more accurate and relevant, I am so sorry I didn’t read them before our stay. The wifi almost didn’t work at all.

“Great location for the city. Just 5 mins walk from the historic centre and not too busy outside. Thick double glazing so no traffic noise. Comfortable beds and sofa beds. We were just staying one night so didn't use the kitchen much but appeared Well. equipped for what would be needed. Host easily contactable for any issues. Would recommend. We were a family with children and suited us well. · Cons: Few errors with check in but easily resolved by host.”
