“Beautiful room in a great location but lacking personal contact & breakfast options.”

The best

The room (Realengo) itself was spectacular, really special with carved wooden shutters & window seats. Huge bed, sofa, fridge & microwave. We asked the lady who was cleaning the rooms if we could have a kettle & she delivered one within minutes. It is in a very central location handy for all the historic sights, shops & restaurants.

To be improved

It should be made clear in the description that this is basically a self check-in room facility rather than a hotel. There was no-one on reception the whole time we were there. Therefore no information about local attractions or restaurant recommendations. A handbook with this information could have been provided. There is no breakfast option at all. We thought an arrangement might have been available with the cafe/restaurant in the courtyard. The rooms are also above a fast food Chinese noodle bar which spoilt the setting a bit & was a bit noisy when busy.

“Perfect in beauty and location. Noisy, but I would return”

The building is beautiful and I was in awe of the rooms - Gorgeous. The location is also perfect. Very central, you can walk your way around town. Also, felt very safe.

Rooms are not protected against the noise from the street and restaurant below.
