La casa de la escritora

The location was excellent. Centrally located, with easy access to everything we needed. The owner was absolutely wonderful. She accommodated all of our needs, and even directed us to a convenient place to store our bags after we checked out so we could enjoy our last day in Madrid. A splendid establishment!

I can't stress enough how good our experience was at La casa de la escritora. The room was VERY clean and organized. The host was very friendly and the location was just perfect - close to everything but quiet inside! The bed was comfortable and we had enough room for two people to manage their luggage comfortably, in addition to a small couch, a desk, and some kitchen appliances (fridge, microwave, electric kettle, coffee machine, dishware). We did almost everything by foot or bus (the #001 bus runs through Gran Vía and it's free). I would definitely recommend this place to other people and I will stay there again when I go to Madrid in the future.

Really nice place great Location, very clean. very comfortable, much better than expected. Just one thing , not a bad thing but to take into consideration if you have mobility issues , there is no lift and it’s located on the second floor.
