The best

The host did a great job of orienting us to the location and telling us how to access the keys. He was very available via WhatsApp when we had to questions. The kitchen was really very well equipped, and everything worked as it was supposed to.

To be improved

We are big people and the bed was somewhat small for the two of us. It also was a bit squeaky.

The best

We loved everything about Casa de Yiyi! A really cute house right next to a lovely, quiet beach and all within very easy reach of the restaurants and amenities of San Jose as well as many beautiful walks and beaches. The owner Javier is the best - super kind and helpful and gave us great recommendations for walks and snorkelling, he even made sure we got off ok on our 8km walk to Los Escullos - highly recommended!

“Great little house in a nice, smaller beach town.”
The best

It is a super cute little house in a nice area of San José, and close to beaches. The owner was super helpful and friendly. He took time to explain things about the property and give us information about the area as well. It felt like we were living an authentic San José experience. The kitchen was well equipped, and we were happy to be able to do some laundry while there, even though we ended up hanging it to dry in the living room because there was a chance of rain! lol The town is small, and easily walkable from the property to explore many restaurants and shops. There is also a solid grocery store within walking distance.

To be improved

The only thing we really did not like about this property, is that there was no view of the water. From the pictures we saw on a listing, we thought that there would be a view of some kind from the house. While it is very close to the beach, other properties in front of it block the view.
