Excellent situation. Karlos is a super friendly, easy going and helpful host. Karlos hospitality is outstanding If you like a slightly rustique and Homely place, at the very Center of town, yet very quiet, with the towns best cafes and restaurants just around the corner and falling asleep to the cosy and silent whisper of people in the street and a friendly morning chat with the locals when you get out in the morning - this is your place

To be improved

Santillana del Mar is very pretty, but also a bit touristic “artificial” - no real shops, but all the same type of tourist shops selling the same cakes, liquors and cheese. Not much to see but a good and quiet camp for tours in the neighbourhood

“Just perfect...Very lovely place to stay and hosts”

A really lovely place. Situated right in the middle of the quaint lovely town.The Owners / Staff were extremely lovely and most welcoming.The rooms are clean , the beds are just fantastic.I really didnt want to leave

To be improved

I hated that I had to leave and travel on.I could have stayed for days.

As it has been already mentioned in the previous comments, the room has beautiful balcony and Karlos is an excellent host who goes an extra mile with his clients! There is a kitchen you can use.

To be improved

It should be cleared that this is not a pension, it’s a shared house, bathrooms are on the corridor and in general there is not much privacy. I liked this but it might be problem for someone. Just saying :) my stay there was great and I would definitely come back!

Pls stay here. Carlos, what a gentleman, warm but non invasive. Lovely photoshoot before setting off for the Camino portfolio. Everything was clean and perfect. Couldn’t recommend more.
