La Casita de Los Orovales

We had a lovely time at La Casita. The property is in an idyllic location on a banana plantation. It is comfortable and well equipped with wonderful sweeping views to the ocean and Mt Teide from the large, partly covered patio. The owners' large house is nearby on the plantation and they do not intrude on your privacy although they are readily available to help with information about places and facilities in the local area as well as further afield on Tenerife. All in all, we would highly recommend La Casita. Thank you, Manolo, for helping us enjoy our stay and providing generous welcome gifts.

Checking in was not complicated, the host gave us the key and explained everything around the house. We could park directly in front of the house. We were glad that the house had screens against midges on all windows. We had a smart-tv, so could watch streaming channels with our own account. The house is far from all touristy areas, yet close enough to Puerto de la Cruz, so it was ideal to explore the North of the island. We would recommend the accommodation to others and would stay again if we come back.

Host was very friendly and property was perfect for relaxation. Very quiet.

The host is amazing and super hospitable, the house is clean and it has comfortable beds, the location is convenient near the highway, and we enjoyed lots of delicious bananas and avocados—just fantastic overall!

This is my second stay at this incredible place, and I’m already looking forward to returning in the future. The house is beautiful, surrounded by banana plantations, with peaceful trails through the fields. It’s just a 5-minute drive to the best beaches in Tenerife. This is the perfect spot for a relaxing family getaway, far from the hustle and bustle. The real highlight, though, is Manolo, the fantastic host. He’s warm, friendly, and truly makes the place feel authentic. Highly recommended!
