“Charming little house with everything you need in a beautiful and quiet location.”

Very nice and charming little house in a beautiful and quiet location. There was even a generous fruit bowl and a loaf of bread waiting for us when we arrived. Great host who even came by to provide us with some fire wood. We very much enjoyed our stay and can only recommend it. Thank you!

“Peaceful paradise”

The best

It is beautifully maintained, is in a fabulous location and is peaceful. The hosts gave us gifts of eggs, fruit and even a local drink from date palm trees.

To be improved

I can't fault the property. The location is up in tje mountains on the edge of the cloud forest so sometimes the weather closes in.

“A little slice of paradise”

It's perfect for us - mid-way between the sea and the mountain peaks. It is warm or cool as needed, has a decent kitchen and a good shower, comfy bed - all we need

The wi fi is patchy, but it doesn't matter when you are in one of the most beautiful places on earth

“Terrible communication and inadequate hot water”

There was a problem with the hot water that eventually appeared to be fixed on our last night of our week long stay but this morning it was still not working. We kept being told that it was fixed but clearly wasn’t. The hot water was inconsistent and we had to put up with various states of just warm to only hot for a minute or two at a time. This made having a shower an arduous activity with minutes of shivering waiting for the water to be hot again in order to wash off the soap. The host tried to fix the problem but the whole event was very invasive for the whole week. We did the right thing and let the host know what was happening. After their plumber arrived unannounced and turned off the gas from outside whilst we were cooking breakfast and turned off the water whilst I was soaped in the shower, I made sure to let them know when we were out so they could fix the water without disturbing us. They kept telling us it was fixed and it clearly still isn’t. Communication was terrible. Apart from not communicating proactively about the hot water situation; I had to ask for the checkin information the day before. There was mould in the corner of the bedroom which I had to clean off and mould in the bathroom not obvious because of the dark tiles.
