The property is in desperate need of modernisation and it smells damp. There are botched repairs all around the building. The outside area is scruffy and full of trip hazards. The property is advertised as 3 bedroom but we were only given access to two of the bedrooms and we couldn’t access the large terrace which apparently has the spectacular views. The beds are tiny, I’m not tall but my feet were hanging off the end of our bed. Thankfully we brought our own pillows as the ones supplied would have been impossible. I personally couldn’t use the bathroom due to the size and layout, plus it was mosquito city. The property felt like an elderly relative had recently died and nothing was changed in the house. Not recommended.

“Nice views from an old-school village house”

The best

Nice countryside. Overall we enjoyed the time there but the house is from a previous era.

To be improved

Probably a happy family house once, but now so many small things let it down. There is no chance that it could be modernized economically for rental, so it is stuck in the past. Unfortunately it is rented for the same price as other much better properties so it feels like bad value for money.

“Probably more enjoyable in summer”

The location was great: surrounded by mountains viewed from a nice terrace on the roof top. The hosts were friendly and helpful.

To be improved

We can imagine it's a nice place to stay in summer, but in winter it's really cold in the house during evenings or nights. You can heat up a little bit with some small electric or wooden fires, but that was not very comfy.

“Excellent proximity to hiking. Recommend to buy groceries before arriving in Eslida. Hosts excellent”

The best

Hosts communicated very thoroughly and gave precise instructions for finding the house, where to park and even where to buy food.

To be improved

It was very warm, but it’s not the hosts fault that the weather was how it was (hot). Air conditioning would be a bonus but probably not common in this community.
