La Casona de Betanzos

As per previous reviews, quirky and unusual hotel which has its own unique vibe which both my 13yr old boy and me loved. Owners were great and make up for the hotel being not in an ideal location by dropping and picking up guests. There is also a lovely walk into Betanzos by the river which is well worth doing too. Breakfast in the school bus also a first!

The room was big so it was the bed. The deco makes it so cozy and it felt fresh with the two windows open even though it was summer.

I stopped here on the English Way. Excellent accommodation near Betanzos. The property is easily accessible, as they offer a free transfer service from the center, for pilgrims and non-pilgrims alike. The rooms are super clean and functional. I also recommend the dinner served at the property, which is excellent. The charcuterie and cheese platters are both worth trying.

Everything! My host! My bed! Everything! The food tasted like a mother love!!!

Maria was a great host, she went above and beyond to accommodate us after a long trip.
