La Casona de Sarria

I booked a private room with private bath, and was happy with the comfortable bed, big windows, a spacious bathroom, and a very peaceful terrace. The building is very clean with a large family room with lots of soft seating, as well as a kitchen and dining table. The fridge is stocked with soda, and wine and coffee are also available on the house. The owner, Marcela, wound up being one of my favourite people that I encountered during my camino. She is so welcoming and warm, and is absolutely dedicated to making sure you are comfortable and looked after. Don't miss out on her breakfast... scrambled eggs, meat, cheese, and delicious pancakes served with dulce de leche. When it's time to go, the road to the camino starts right outside your door. You couldn't ask for more.

This plAce is nice and the Host itself was very accomodating its nice when u starting teh Camino in Sarria

First of all is the Host! Such a warm welcome 🤗🥰 We start our Camino way from Sarria and host helped me with sending a suitcase to the end point and a backpack to the next points on the route, recommended a wonderful place for dinner 🙏 The albergue is so beautiful and cosy, looks better than in picture. You have all you need for stay and start the Camino!

Marcella was amazing and made us feel so welcome. Breakfast was wonderful and although we only stayed a night. Quaint hotel with lots of personality!

Such a warm welcome and the room was fantastic, openning to a huge balcony. Below is a fully equipt kitchen with goodies like coffee and wine. Outside is a beautiful garden right next to a river. Fantastic.
