La Codorniz

This was the best hotel stay I've experienced. It is a familly run hotel with excellent cooks and great amenities such as a really clean and inviting pool and a nice balcony. I like the traditional decore as well. In their restaurant, I ordered a rare steak. Perfectly rare from edge to edge. I ordered oven cooked fresh fish from Tarifa. Perfectly done. Octopus for lunch, amazing. And do yourself a favor, try their sweet and sour salad with goat cheese. I ordered it three times it was so good. I was constantly impressed by how well they take care of the hotel and their guests. My room had a great view of the nearby mountains. I swam in the pool several times to cool off as it was summertime. And this hotel was a couple minutes walk from the windsurfing school I attended during the stay.

It’s cute and small

Very nice rooms, we had a room with terrace at the grass side like on the pictures. It is exactly as shown, and a very comfortable relaxed place. Swimming pool was nice and not busy at all. Perfect for kitesurfers, you can just cross the street and you are at the beach!

Quite good location if you prefer wild beach, just need to cross the road. The room is comfortable, very clean, with small fridge, they also have a restaurant. To the Tarifa just 7 minutes by car. Good option fior small holiday stay.

Lovely salt pool. Breakfast is basic but other meals looked good. No vegetarian options.Overall the hotel is good but would have liked a pleasant lounge...see below.
