We'd stopped in Carmona for an hour or so a few years ago and wanted to return. Delighted to find the property overlooking the square to start our 3 week tour of the South. Ideal location for exploring the whole town, and enjoyed the fact it is an ancient building, although that did present a couple of issues. Roof terrace probably would have been appreciated in warmer months.

To be improved

The narrow brick turnpike stair, from the front door to the first, then to the second was a challenge with anything bigger than a medium backpack, or with a dodgy knee (which Mrs. V had recently developed) but that's not a criticism, more a caveat. It's an ancient town-centre property, not a modern hotel after all. Parking unlikely to be possible nearby, though drop-off no problem. Once we'd worked out the one-way system (go the long way through Puerta de Cordoba then circle right around the town to park easily, and free near Puerta de Sevilla (from where just a 5-minute walk) we were sorted.

Well equipped, comfortable and a great view over the square.

I knew about this but the stairs are steep so be careful if you have small kids or frail oldies.

“Lovely little apartment, located on main square”

The best

Compact little duplex apartment, full of character, situated on the main square. Great location and reasonable price. Owner was quick to respond to messages (didn’t speak English but wasn’t a problem as you can translate messages on app).

To be improved

Stairs to the property are very steep-might be an issue for some people. The kitchen would benefit from some more utensils. Check out instructions would have been helpful also.
