Host is described as pleasant and unobtrusive.
Overall a good experience despite some significant complaints.
Heated pool and good outdoor space available.
Nice countryside view but access can be difficult, especially for larger cars.
Noticed issues with the property's maintenance considering the price paid.
Rooms are spacious but reported to have unpleasant odors.
“Stay in La Cuadra de Arona not worthy of the price paid.”
The property is 600 meters over the sea levels, on the hills, in the countryside. There is a nice view of the coast. The garden is nice. There is a nice heated swimming-pool. The location is generally quiet, but (see below).
- The hosts live in a house on the top of the hill, just a few meters from the property. They barely speak English and use the mobile phone for translation. - The hosts have a big dog. This dog is barking and howling all the time when the hosts are away, which happens quite often. - During the last days of our vacation, a donkey appeared in the garden of the host. The donkey was left alone and it brayed all the time. - At out arrival, there were several large dog shits in the garden (probably from this dog) which the hosts never cleaned. - At out arrival, there was a Kinder egg yellow-plastic container in the garden, that the hosts never removed. - We arrived mid-afternoon. We found in the fridge: a bottle of wine, a bottle of milk, and a chocolate bar (the same given at the dune buggy tours). That's all. We were then obliged to go shopping the same day if we wanted to have something to eat. - There is a chicken farm not far from the property. When it is hot, and depending on the wind direction, awful stenches pervade the air making it barely breathable. - The kitchen of the villa can be considered the realm of the sticky things. The situation about kitchen tools, cutlery, dishes, pans, is very bad. - The washing machine is located in the garden, close to the barbecue. - We never used the barbecue, because it is still based on coal. - The sleeping rooms are quite ok, but they stink of oldish stuff. - The property is composed of two apartments, but this means that you have to go out of one apartment and enter the second one if you want to use the second bathroom. - Bathroom issue: you cannot throw toilet paiper in the toilet of the second bathroom, which basically lead to using only one toilet for pooing. This can be a problem if there are severa people in the property. - The bathrooms stink because of the sink drain. - There is nothing to clean the property if you're staying for a long time.
“Superb”
“Perfect for a relaxing and peaceful holiday”
The property is located at the edge of a small quiet town , well away from the hustle of the main resorts of Tenerife. We had a 10 minute drive from our accommodation. The peace and tranquility was perfect for a relaxing holiday. The swimming pool was a real bonus. The BBQ area was excellent The house was clean and very comfortable. Our hostess Noelia was very welcoming, and was on hand to help with any queries we may have had. We will definitely plan to return in the future.
We couldn’t fault the property.
“superb property and location. highly recommended”
We got lost at night going to the property but the owner Antonio met us in the town and escorted us to the property. Fantastic service.

“Fantastic villa, great host, lovely warm pool”
Beautiful villa in a lovely peaceful area, perfect for those wanting to spend a relaxing holiday away from the hustle and bustle of the larger busier areas
Leaving!
“Great and friendly host who answered questions immediately. Will visit again.”
Location is perfect, on outskirts of village with uninterrupted views to the south coast. Great pool (with cover so useable all Year round) and property set in peaceful location. Perfect for exploring the national Park areas but equally a short drive from the coastal resorts and shops. And a basket of fresh oranges on arrival too. Fast response from owner with plenty of tips to enjoy our stay. We will visit again!
