“Lovely little finca”

We had the pleasure of staying here for 4 days. The apartment is situated ,behind an electric gate,on the outskirts of Agüimes and has the feel of being out in the country. There are noises of animals that are in surrounding areas, but we found that part of the charm. There is a beautiful horse above the property, too. The property itself was lovely and extremely well presented. The bed was extremely comfortable, basic cooking stuff , washing machine and a very good shower. Although it had a large tv we didn't have time to watch it. There is a pool, however because it was out of season it was empty. We were met by Heriberto ( the host) who showed us around the property, he provided washing liquid (for washing machine), a range of toiletries including toothbrushes and toothpaste. There were a few snacks on the side and some beers in the fridge. He was welcoming and friendly and asked if we wanted him to show us the area. After we had a rest we met up with him and he drove us around the town pointing out places for us. He dropped us off at the restaurant of out choice and after a lovely meal we walked the short distance back to the apartment, he also messaged us the following day just to check everything was OK.

We had an amazing time, the property is brilliant. Great size, in a lovely location just outside the town, easy walk to enjoy the lovely shops and restaurants .Heriberto was an amazing host, who went out of his way to make us feel comfortable. Don't pass up the chance to stay here.

“Nice and exotic excursion”

Quiet place with excellent hospitality with a very welcome package of local starter food and coffee and fruits. When you are lying down in the bed you can see through the window's the palm trees' leaf waving to you. Within a short walk you can reach the old town center with traditional tavernas and shops. And if the Ocean is too much to you can have a rest in the private pool.

To be improved

A few facts that I would have appreciated to know before booking this property. Property is in countryside, meaning very dirty access road and unpleasant smell from surrounding properties, such as pigsty located just across the street, which makes it impossible to enjoy the time in the garden or little swimming pull (5 nights in November). It is a comfortable studio with almost everything you need for short stay, however I encountered important hygiene concerns which, surely, Heriberto already took care of. The host, Heriberto is very kind and always willing to help . Another suggestion I would make to the host is to renew the stock of bed sheets and towels. Overall, this is not a bad choice for short stays, with condition that the hygiene issue is solved.

We loved that this property had all the facilities to feel comfortable and at home. The properly is located in a small sweet town/village with the most lovely people.
