The best

The location (in the heart of the old town) was perfect. Incredibly comfortable bed and a good, powerful shower. Maria provided meticulous access information and prompt help with my utter inability to understand Spanish washing machine instructions. We'd definitely stay at La Cueva again.

To be improved

There was no door to the shower room and the kitchen was rather under-equipped. But we solved both problems quickly and cheaply with a curtain and extendable rod and a good sharp knife from the Chinese bazaar in the town. Could have done with more than one towel each.

The best

the location is fantastic inside the walls of the old town … but equally not noisy at all (this is in October) we had our dog with us and the little private patio was perfect as we could leave the door open for him to go outside.

To be improved

the bed was had an iron frame which meant it squeaked when you moved … although the bed itself is very comfortable…
