The best

La Galerica is less than 5 minutes walk from the seafront in Puerto de Mazarrón (itself a very pleasant resort). I absolutely loved it! It is a small boutique hotel, very tastefully designed, and extremely comfortable. I have stayed in a lot of hotels but this one has character and it made my trip even more memorable. I cannot recommend this hotel more.

To be improved

I cannot comment on breakfast because I booked 2 nights, room only. I had very little contact with staff, but the man on reception was very friendly and efficient. Whilst the room is extremely comfortable, it may be a bit small for some visitors (I was a solo traveller). Also, my room didn’t have an outside window as it faced into a small courtyard; I saw this as a feature, not a problem.

The best

Very central location close to restaurants and bars but in a quiet street close to the beach. Very clean. Found parking nearby easily. We needed somewhere to stay after a party and it was perfect for us.
