“Not Luxury”

The best

The location was good in the city. Parking close by. The entrance, lift and apartment have all been recently renovated and look nice.

To be improved

No AC in a "luxury" apartment in Spain in the summer was a big shock. When we arrived the room was like an oven. We had to open the windows to try and cool the place. One of the windows was absolutely filthy (have a photo) and looked terrible. A fan was provided, but that had more of a "granny's apartment" than luxury feel to it. Windows open all night with screaming seagulls (not their fault) from 5am. All communication via Whats App, including sending important information (passport DOB etc.), might not sit well with some people. There was a coffee machine provided, with one (yes one) pod provided for two guests. No tea or other options. Not much utensils to do any cooking, so the apartment idea, isn't much. Should stay in a hotel. Thankfully loads of great restaurants in A Coruna. The most expensive place we stayed in and poorest value and not luxury.

“Very nice apt in an ok location”

Very nice apartment, clean, modern, big and comfortable. The building has also been renovated.

To be improved

The street has stairs. The escalator only goes up (not down) and sometimes does not work. Obviously not an apt problem but you should bear this in mind. Also communication was very slow, I only got responses to my questions after insisting many times and it got to the point that I thought I would have to cancel the reservation and find another apt. Fortunately that was not necessary.

“Spacious modern apartment on few minutes walk from Central Coruña.”

The best

Spacious apartment with separate bathrooms and terrace with sun loungers as well as had the ground floor one. Easy to access. Kitchen was clean and had adequate utensils. On arrival both toilets didn’t stop flushing but within an hour someone came to fix and both parts were replaced and worked fine afterwards. Very speedy response with apologies from Laura.

To be improved

As mentioned in other reviews, its location is off a very busy road, reachable via 2 short escalators but impossible to park nearby so it’s better to drop luggage and park your car at paid parking (€24 for 24 hours) at about 5 minutes walk. It was hard to work out the induction stove, some explanation would be nice. There was no kettle but this was going to be sorted. Overall these are small points and generally our stay was very pleasant.

“Beautiful apartments but issues with codes”

We were given a code the day that we checked in and by the time we got to the property at 9pm our code wouldn’t work, leaving us locked out. We spent half an hour calling the property and got no response. Finally, a member of staff picked up and we were given a different code that worked. The same thing happened two days later and then again the day after that. It’s a shame because we really loved the place apart from this issue but it’s quite annoying that it happened 3 times and we were especially worried about getting locked out late at night after being out and getting no response from the owners.
