Good location for bird watching.

To be improved

Very, very dark and medieval. Restaurant always closed. Had to drive 20 minutes for breakfast. Room never cleaned or bed made. No registration of visit, but still paid local tax. Had to pay as soon as we arrived. We were locked out first evening & locked in the following morning!

FIRE DOOR LOCKED AT NIGHT!!! DANGEROUS - ILLEGAL??Seemed to be only 1 member of staff. No one there 6.30pm Sun - 8.50am Monday. Told on arrival the restaurant closed - WHAT IS THE POINT OF TELLING ME THIS ON ARRIVAL AT A RURAL LOCATION???? SO NOW ONE OF US CAN'T HAVE A DRINK BECAUSE WE HAVE TO DRIVE ELSEWHERE - IT'S EASTER WEEKEND AND RESTAURANT ISN'T OPEN!!!!! WHEN DOES IT ACTUALLY OPEN????? IT'S A KEY PART OF BOOKING. TELL ME IN ADVANCE SO I CAN BOOK ELSEWHERE. WAITED UNTIL 8.50AM ON MONDAY FOR ANYONE TO SHOW FOR BREAKFAST - NOTHING. LEFT WITHOUT BREAKFAST. Shower head holder broken - had to hold whilst showering. DO SOME PLACES NOT REALISE CUSTOMERS ARE LOOKING FOR A GREAT EXPERIENCE AND TO SAVOUR THE AREA AND CUSTOMS?? Don't like to leave bad reviews, but terrible - give up and do something you may care about.
