“A good spot for visiting inland towns and the coast. Close to the airport”

The best

Checkin was really easy. The apartment was clearly newly renovated and it was well equipped for families with young children. The views from our terrace and the pool were stunning. We had a nice meal at the restaurant which was only open 1 night whilst we were staying. It would have been good if there were more Spanish options on the menu however. The local town also has some good restaurant options.

To be improved

There were a few faults with our apartment such as no hot water, a broken bed and a broken oven. Communication with the owners was good and they were quickly resolved. In April the apartment was very dark and cold. Better lighting inside would be beneficial. The grounds around the swimming pool and play area felt a bit scruffy and like they needed attention. This is probably due to it being April and not peak season.

Beautifully restored ranch outside Alhaurin, staff are delightful as we're the longer-term residents. Restaurant is only occasionally open in the low season at least, so best to have transport options as it's a long walk into town. Would wholeheartedly recommend.
