“It was just beautiful!”
The best

First and foremost, the view was amazing. How quiet the place was, you could hear birds chirping and occasionally goats bleating. The tranquility of the place was just mesmerizing. Also the Casa itself was equipped really good.

To be improved

The toilet was leaking a bit, we had to switch it on and off regularly. There were tiny little worms on the floors and ceilings, to be seen everyday. But I guess this is just a part of the “wilderness”, it did not bother me that much (as opposed to my fiancé).

“A perfect relaxing holiday”
The best

The location is unrivalled. So peaceful and tranquil. The property was very thoughtfully equipped and we had a bottle of nice red wine on arrival. There were plenty of spare towels and blankets. Also heaters in every room. Plenty of hot water too. Cristina is a real treasure who looked after us all the time, giving information when needed. It was spotlessly clean to the highest level. Because the house is far away from any village the night sky was astounding, so many stars!

“Very quiet, cute house in the countryside”
The best

During our 2,5-week stay on La Palma, we stayed in 4 different houses: all the other houses were more expensive than La Herbilla, 2 of them had huge terraces with ocean view, etc., BUT our favourite one was La Herbilla...:) It is small, but very cosy, "in the middle of nowhere", very rural, but at the same time very comfortable and sooo quiet! Yes, maybe it is a bit too small for longer stays, but for a holiday it is perfect! So we would gladly stay here again!

To be improved

When you enter the house, there is nowhere to hang your jackets (by the way it is a common thing on La Palma, and we don't know why. Maybe the idea is that it suppose to be too hot for anything other than T-shirt?:)). And there is no owen (another common thing on La Palma). But it's really doesn't effect your stay too much.
