“Superb”
“Highly recommend if it is within your budget!”
If this accommodation is within your budget, I would 100% recommend it. We are a couple and stayed for 10 days as part of a holiday/WFH trip. The location is incredible, La Latina is a really cool district in Madrid, with loads of tapas bars, quirky shops and beautiful streets to walk around. The apartment is a 4 min walk away from the Museo de San Isidro which is a free museum on the history Madrid - definitely worth a visit. It's also walking distance to all the main central districts in Madrid, we only took the metro once when we were leaving (just around the corner from the apartment) but walked everywhere else. The apartment was spotlessly clean when we arrived and was super easy to gain access to via the app (everything is managed electronically, there is no key to pick up or person to meet). The apartment was surprisingly a bit bigger than what we expected from the pictures, it had all necessary appliances (microwave, oven, toaster, kettle, coffee machine, hairdryer, iron etc.) The wifi was perfect which was really important for us as we were both working remotely during the trip - no connection issues at all. And overall it was very comfortable - large sofa, comfortable bed, running hot water and aircon. Check out was at 11.00 but were given the option for a late check out until 16.00 for a small fee which was great as we were flying home late that evening.
Nothing major - the TV wasn't a smart TV, so maybe bring a Chromecast or HDMI cable to connect your laptop if you are staying a while and want to watch Netflix. All Spanish TV stations show dubbed movies/TV. And just to budget in the security deposit - ours was €300 paid the morning of arrival (via the app) and has already been returned to us in full after a couple of days.
