La Mata Azul Beach 2

Place was not cleaned when we arrived: dirty showers, sinks, counters, dishes & oven, sock under the bed. Pillow cases & duvet covers were nice quality, however sheets were synthetic with obvious signs wear & tear (including holes), it more looked like a mattress covers rather than sheets. Felt disgusted. Beds are ok, but I wouldn't call it comfortable, especially for a long term stays. Issues were raised with hosts & keyholder, but no one wanted to take responsibility for it. It's unacceptable, taking into account that I paid more than average price for our stay and cleaning fee was double the standard for this area. Communication not the best and takes a while prior you hear (or not hear) a response. Although complex is great: has couple of pools & playground, it doesn't seem to be child-friendly. Security guard was giving out to all kids who were playing games (ball, rocket etc) in the pool or making a noises louder than normal (I'm talking about day time). It was a bit weird and lots parents were surprised. Left a bit unpleasant impression. Jacuzzi and sauna were closed, seems that they're open only during the winder season. But I guess you can leave without it during hot days. In general: this place has a good potential if someone is going to resolve few issues (like cleaning service, beds comfort and I would suggest to improve towels quality, also looked quite exhausted), but I won't give another attempt.
