“Quite Simply One of our Favourite Hotels”
Lost count of the number of times we've stayed here. A lovely family-run hotel with the most delightful staff who welcome us back and make us feel right at home from the moment we arrive. Special mention going to the amazing Cecelia. A blessing that this is a child-free hotel because it really is so quiet and very relaxing, and appeals to a wide degree of age ranges too. The buffet breakfast is exceptional and something to look forward to when planning a visit. Every visit we notice various improvements and the fact that this is family owned and run is evident in the love that they put into the place. A September visit sets us up for the English winter!
“Top class hotel,great staff”
This hotel is excellent. The rooms are really big, the beds very comfortable and there is real attention to detail. The only thing I would change is having a walk-in power shower rather than a bath with a shower attachment. The pool area is fantastic and the location very scenic and tranquil. We ate a couple of times and the food and service were excellent. Upon our arrival, I was informed that I had booked a second room by mistake, which was due to technical issues on the part of my credit card provider. The hotel staff were very helpful and sorted this out very quickly. Throughout our stay, they went out of their way to make the holiday really memorable. I would recommend the hotel very highly.
“Quiet by name, beautifully quiet by nature”
Just had a beautiful, peaceful stay at this gem of a hotel. We were only there for four days but could have stayed longer and will definitely return. Cala San Vicenç is quiet, surrounded by mountains with a couple of smallish beaches. Plenty of lovely restaurants as well, maybe 5-7 mins walk from the hotel. The hotel itself is beautifully appointed, with 26 rooms, so never very busy. The breakfast was special. The main pool big enough with a smaller pool next to the Sauna, so colder. We ate there on two nights and drank at the pool bar every night. The staff were great and always had time for a chat. We took a boat ride to Formentor and the reception team couldn’t have been more helpful in arranging and then sorting out the taxi. I can’t recommend them more highly especially if you want an adults only, boutique style hotel.
“A wonderful hotel”
I had high expectations of this hotel after reading the reviews but it surpassed all expectations. The hotel itself is beautiful. We had a suite and the room was incredibly spacious with a lovely private balcony. The staff were friendly, helpful and always on hand if you needed them. The food and drink was superb and there were plenty of pool loungers for everyone. There are four small coves within easy walking distance and we loved walking into the mountains too. We had a truly wonderful stay and would highly recommend the hotel.
“Great stay in a charming relaxing hotel.”
Just returned from 8 days at La Moraleja, our 4th stay and not sure what it is but always come away feeling chilled and relaxed. The staff amazing and the breakfast great, would like to pay thanks to Cecilia as she certainly adds that something special to our stay. A small adults only hotel that hits all the right spots.
“Exactly as described - tranquil, high end, unpretentious, customer-service focused. Lovely.”
Easy to park on street outside, had no trouble finding a space during our 4 day stay. Warm welcome from Reception, who led us up to our room, which was clean, spacious, had blackout curtains, and a beautiful balcony with blooming pink bougainvillea overlooking the pool and views. Air con was powerful but quiet. Pools both lovely, and they put out lazyboy chairs and pool rings for lazing on the water. More sun beds than customers, which was refreshing. Bar service overlooks the pool, and they do have a lunch menu and a smaller room service menu but we didn't use them so can't comment on quality of food. Location is spectacular - it's a straight 5 min walk down the road to a stunning cove/beach, with numerous good quality restaurants overlooking, and lifeguards throughout the day. Beds and pillows were comfy, his and hers sink a nice touch, and decent pressure on the shower. We had a walk in wardrobe which was unexpected. Housekeeping staff left us nice notes, and topped us up with complimentary still water each day. Everything had been thought about - there is a library full of books to read to pass the time, and umbrellas in Reception in case of a shower. The overall ambience was quiet - there's no background music or 'vibes', it's just a place to stop, enjoy amazing scenery, soak up some sun and swimming in tranquility, in an unpretentious setting. If you hire a car we can also recommend a visit to Alcudia old walled town, Port de Pollenca for marina views, and Port de Soller for pretty seaside in a protected cove. Go in the morning as traffic is busy in the afternoon. Get the smallest car you can hire, as spaces/car parks throughout Mallorca are tiny. Hire is pricey but fuel costs next to nothing. We had a Diesel golf and it cost us about 2euros an hour.
If food service had been beyond 3pm then we would have definitely eaten at the hotel. We did have some very tiny (barely visible) ants in our room, which likely crawled in off the [very beautiful] bougainvillea bushes, and did us absolutely no harm whatsoever. We didn't even mention it to Reception because it just wasn't an issue. The room was beautifully clean every day after housekeeping had visited.
