“One to avoid!”
The best

The property was close to the Camino de Santiago, in beautiful surroundings. There were cows immediately in front of the property which was absolutely fine with us, we were in farming country. There are two properties which are beautiful from the outside.

To be improved

As I said, the properties were beautiful on the outside, unfortunately this was not the case on the inside. We were shown to a room in the ‘second’ property, as you entered the house you were immediately greeted by a musty smell, the decor was dated and tired. There was a great lack of attention shown to the property it was dusty, grimy and filthy, the only clean part were the sheets and towels. There is no air conditioning or fans so we had to leave the window ajar for air which we only did when we went to bed and all the lights were off, unfortunately, we still had mosquitoes flying about the room.

“We stayed here before going on to the Santander ferry. The nearby beaches are beautiful. The Posada is quiet, and a bit quirky ...there is a full size statue of a cow in the lounge. It is not 5 stars, but as we had a dog, it worked well for us. · Cons: Shower head did not fit into the holder on the wall.”
