communication was non existen with the owner . I tried multiple times to contact them about an early check in. Booking.com raised a concern and hoidu sent me a email asking me to contact the owner direct if I heard nothing... this was the problem -the owner was un responsive.Holidu were not listening to my problem. In the end booking .com told me they had spoken to the owner and that we could check in early at 12 noon. When we arrived there were still guests staying. The owner was still unresponsive to my messages . Luckily the guests still in the house had a contact number .. they gave it to me.. I managed to speak to a cleaner who came to let us in. She was very nice and let us leave our bags and said come back in an hour. I had no contact at all with the owners . We weren't given a number for the key safe . When we checked out I contacted the cleaner again and she said to leave the key on the table. I had to re wash bed sheets for the sofa bed as they were dirty and all the towels smelt of cigarette smoke. I don't like to leave reviews like this but feel others need to be aware of communication barrier.
