The place

The guest house is located in a picturesque valley, which gives you quite a unique experience. It has all you need, cute rooms, shared bathrooms, and a basic breakfast. Definitely recommended it!

The house is in a picturesque location and is very authentic. It is clean, the shared bathroom is good. The host is very nice, but only speaks Spanish. There is a garden available. The view from the common area is nice. But otherwise the information from Booking.com does not match reality, and many important details are missing. For example, that there is a very long staircase to the house, which is more than 40 m above the nearest parking/road. That is an equivalent to 12 floors - without an elevator. This should be stated in the description. There is no living room or kitchen available, only a refrigerator and a dining table. No place to relax except in bed. The rooms are not 20 m2 large, more like 12 m2. They have windows to the breakfast area, so there is no private room really, you hear everyone else, everyone hears you, and the rooms cannot be aired properly . One room has no window at all, and is very humid. The house needs more care and repair many places. The rooms are very simple, only with basic furnishings. Outdoor areas are messy. Many cats everywhere, and dogs barking during the night. But the authenticity and quirkiness weighs up for inconveniences, kind of.pl

Owner was great, down to earth, great hospitality. Rooms were good and quirky decoration felt like staying with a true cañarían. Excellent location with stunning views, great food in close by and most importantly we could walk from the hotel into the mountains. Stunning ancient trails. Breakfast was simple and fresh
