“Nice apartment with the ocean view.”

The best

A lovely and comfortable apartment situated in the Lago Verde complex. There's a shared swimming pool with a bar. A spacious terrace furnished with seating furniture and sunbeds, and even an electric barbecue. The ocean view is an added bonus. Air-conditioning units in both the living room and bedroom ensure a pleasant stay in the apartment, even during warm weather. Lago Verde Suite is just a short walk downhill from the Old Town. A Spar shop is conveniently located next to the apartment complex. The owner was very responsive and accommodating, making our stay truly enjoyable.

To be improved

If you would like to get a sunbed next to the pool, make sure to come down early. Very often all sunbeds are "reserved" with towels but there is no people who actually use them. Very typical for shared accommodation.

“Pleasant”

The best

Very spacious and comfortable apartment with a large balcony. The view from the balcony was amazing as were the sunsets. Pool area very clean and well maintained. Having a washing machine was a real bonus.

To be improved

The room was advertised as non smoking, but the apartment smelled really bad of stale cigarette smoke which hit you as soon as you opened the door. Pool snack bar closed after two days as the toilets were being renovated. The building noise for the rest of the week was awful. Hence our week was not as relaxing as we’d expected it to be. We were not informed of this at the booking stage. Swimming pool was also advertised as heated, it wasn’t.

“A great apartment with great facilities”

The best

Perfectly located for the old town and harbour. Stunning view from the terrace which is a great space. Comfortable beds, the pool area is a great size with plenty of loungers and a bar (cash only) with a good vibe around it. Air conditioning a big plus! Very helpful.

To be improved

Quite a distance from the new town and up a very steep hill! Would recommend factoring in money for taxis into budgets if you’re not a big fan of walking distances. Also a lot of bugs in the wood of the apartment. WiFi not good during our stay either, could not use but wasn’t a problem as we had data the whole time.
