“Cons: The parking costs extra, which was totally my bad as I didn’t see that while doing the booking, but the staff member was just very arrogant about this. I booked for two, but got just one towel. There was no staff member to be found to ask for a second towel. Small things, I know, but overall didn’t leave us a good experience.”

The room was damp, most likely due to the shower scenario which was disastrous. The shower was on a higher platform in the room with no edges to keep the water in. My partner had a shower on the first night and the water started flooding onto the floor wetting all of our luggage. So from that point we had to stand in the corner of the shower, facing the shower head directly down the drain pipe, it did give us a laugh. The rooms have large gaps under the entrance doors so you can hear everything. The fire alarm went off at 4am one night (this can’t be helped and we would have forgiven it) but the host did nothing to communicate to half dressed guests in the lobby whether there was in fact a fire. He then turned the main alarm off but the alarm box continued to ring the entire night. No apologies. My partner and I have roughed it when it comes to accommodation and we’d usually overlook all of these issues, hence why we didn’t complain about any of them individually, but ultimately the service just didn’t reflect the pricing.
