“Second visit. 100% recommended.”
As per last year's review, this is such a fantastic hotel for families. The only difference we found this year was that there was less outside music at the outside sunset bar, but, we did visit the hotel at a quiter time of year this time. I highly recommend, thank you 😊
“Amazing hotel 🌟”
We have just arrived home from the best holiday, and the Landmar was a huge part in why it was so fantastic (alongside all the fun and activities Tenerife has to offer in general!). The overall vibe/atmosphere from the hotel is extremely family-friendly (there were so many young families there, which is worth noting if you’re looking for an adults-only experience), happy, vibrant, and comfortable. It feels safe, spacious and special. Cleanliness: The hotel is immaculate, in our opinion. We didn’t see any grub, grime or dirt at all. On an early morning wander to breakfast you will find the cleaning teams out in force getting the hotel ready for the day. Particularly, the lobby, reception building and Sunset Bar and terrace are standout points of the hotel. Our rooms were clean and comfortable, with regular housekeeping. Our children had a small problem with ants in their bathroom halfway through the holiday, which the staff were very quick to help sort out. The pool areas are also maintained very well, and it all feels hygienic and pleasant to be in. The water is clean, the sun bathing areas are tidy and well cared for and there is plenty of space for everyone. Food: Great choice and availability at every meal. It feels clean, fresh and the food offerings are varied and plentiful. Absolutely no-one in our party went hungry! During the day, there is the smaller Ola snack hut or the bigger Nautilus snack restaurant by the quiet pool. We enjoyed making use of both!! On our final night we had a meal at the Bones à la carte restaurant. The steak was absolutely delicious, and even better than the lovely buffet food we’d been enjoying up until then. The restaurant was beautiful and the staff made a fuss of our final night ‘posh meal’ experience. Staff: The staff couldn’t do more for you. From the reception team, to the housekeeping team, to the entertainment team, the photographers and not forgetting the hard working restaurant and bar staff. They are all friendly, welcoming and very courteous. Special thanks to Selena on the front desk for sorting our à la carte meal for us. Entertainment: We enjoyed 3 or 4 of the shows on offer. They were funny, interesting and well performed. It felt smooth and professional. Additionally, we spent many nights in the sunset bar having drinks, watching the sunset and listening to music. Our favourites were the gin and jazz Wednesday nights and the blues brothers tribute night. Spa: I enjoyed a lovely aromatherapy massage in the spa. It was professional, in calm and pleasant surroundings. My only suggestions for the spa would be to have maybe louder spa-music in the massage rooms, as during my treatment I was humming along to “Gangnam Style” that the entertainment team we’re currently playing at the morning kids pool party above me 🤣🤣 I also didn’t get to use the spa water circuit available, as lots of people had paid to come in with their children and I had fancied an adults-only experience. But that is my own choice. Facilities: For a break from the pool, we utilised the high ropes course and the mini golf course. Both are easy to book and provide some light relief from sun-soaking by the pool. The slide at the pool was a key reason I booked this hotel, as I envisioned the kids being on it constantly, but actually it turned out to not be their favourite thing (although there was nothing wrong with it!). They just loved being in the big Dolphin pool, playing on their inflatables and learning how to dive. We didn’t use the tour-booking facilities in reception, but they were manned by helpful staff everyday. We just booked all our trips independently. Overall - I will be wanting to return to the Landmar the next time Tenerife is a holiday destination choice for us, and I will be recommending it to anyone who is heading to Tenerife. We were so overwhelmingly happy with our hotel choice. Well done to the whole team and creating a wonderful guest experience.
