Lanzarote Bliss

Arrived to apartment not cleaned. Michael text us after we landed to inform us he would try to arrange a cleaner. We dropped our bags into a filty apartment, wet towels on the bathroom floor, bins overflowing with rubbish & beds unmade from previous tenants. We went for food & arrived back at 10.30 pm to be told by cleaner she was still cleaning so we'd to sit out on the balcony waiting until gone 11pm to get into our apartment. Michael did say he would refund us the 1st night (10 nights paid €2400) so we expected €240 back but had to keep texting him & looking for the refund. Eventually had to go through booking.com & was then only refunded €120. Cleaner did arrive next day but it still wasn't 100%. Never changed towels or beds in 10 nights. Power also tripped out 1 night, we had no power for over an hour & then found fusebox & realised that the toaster was tripping the electrics. Been honest I would never stay in this apartment again it badly needs to be updated & if you have small children I would not recommend as the railing around the balcony was not secure in my opinion.
