“Good room in house with laundry and chill vibe.”

Good sized room in a house with multiple other rooms. One bathroom to share for downstairs rooms. Laundry onsite with hang dry. Nice living room and big open seating space in the back outside. Parking outside the house was no problem. Location is central and allows access to the entire island easily. Our hosts were attentive and always willing to help. We enjoyed talking to the other guests as well.

“Couldn’t wait to leave”

It was very cheap and the village was sweet but in the middle of nowhere unless you pay £30 for a taxi.

Host smoked when walking though communal areas flicking ash onto the floor, there was also strong smell of cannabis coming from the bed rooms upstairs were hosts lived. Host lived at property and there children didn’t like having guests in there home. They didn’t speak English but made it obvious by poking there tongue out ect. The host were doing work on the roof until 10pm which was so loud it sounded like they were inside the bed room. Which kept my young children awake. The doors all slam so loud until early hours of the morning. This was because they were very stiff and big heavy wooden doors. There is only one shower for everyone one staying at the property which also runs out of hot water after 2 showers. We stayed with 12 people and there were at least a further 6 guests staying at the house,plus the hosts and there children.There was lots of people in and out the property. The shower also had a huge hole in the roof and the whole place was dirty. My little ones feet were always black. Beds were clean but all bedding dated. Sink was always full of dirty dishes. I had to clean the kitchen every time before using it. Then the host would go in and just make a mess leave all the dishes in the sink. Drying up and dirty dishes were so over flowing that you couldn’t use the tap. It was very reasonable priced and you get what you pay for but I have stayed in hostels with my children before and it has always been fine. Over all wouldn’t go back.

“Basic place to stay, OK for one night”

Cheap place to stay in an area without many options.

To be improved

Difficult to park as there are only a few places in front of the house. It felt like sleeping in someone’s home without actually meeting hosts. A bit busy with people in the patio till late.

Tried to contact the owner, but no luck, therefore couldn't check in. Eventually i manged to get in after about 40 minutes. Place looked like someones house, full of everything and wouldn't recommend it for longer than a night stay. Very strange.

“Not good at all”

The place is not ready for hosting people. There was not running water at all, which means from a 3 days stay we couldn’t shower 2 of them. Not even chance to wash a couple of things in the kitchen. The bed is not a proper bed. The mattress was old and not even straight . There is a swimming pool which you can use, but it is not really clean and the backyard is just weird. There are one or two cats in the property. I think that must be mention in the description, because there might be guest (as me) with allergies. They do keep them in the backyard or in the kitchen, but it is still inconvenient for people who could be in troubles because of them. People living there smoke in their rooms (which is totally fine because it is their home) but it can be smell everywhere. We left beers in the fridge and…couple of them were gone the day after (perhaps it was our fault because we didn’t write down or names or room number, but c’mon, you don’t drink things you know you haven’t bought). In overall, it may be the right place to be if you are 18 years old, hippie and you are on budget, but otherwise, I would rather recommend to spend a little bit more money and have real accommodation with minimum facilities. We didn’t move away after few minutes because we had it payed, but it was a shame because we were so jealous passing by other places looking at least normal… Lanzarote is a great island and it has a lot to offer, do not screw your experience with the wrong stay. It is creepy.
