I visited with my son at the start of our camino. The place looked good, seemed reasonable value and was in a good location.The facilities were very limited, the coffee machine didn't work. We weren't bothered by this too much. Unfortunately our room (no 3) smelled strongly of damp. It's window opened onto an airless internal courtyard/lightwell. The only way to air the room was to leave the room door open, obviously not something we wanted to do for very long. I complained to the hotel and was told the only other available room was a single room (no 3). This also was smelly, it's window opened on to another airless internal courtyard/lightwell. We reluctantly stayed put in no 3. Early the following morning whilst leaving I noticed the door to room 6 was slightly open. I had a look in and discovered another double room. It very obviously had not been used the previous night. It had an outside window and didn't smell. Not sure why I wasn't offered this room. I will not be returning!

2 nights here. First night stayed in Room 1, that had no natural light, we appreciated that the owner changed us to room 6. However room 6 was worst, smelt terrible because of the WC full of mold, like shown in the photos. Unacceptable being in business in these conditions. Mold exposure can cause serious health disorders.

The room window only opens 2 inches at the top. With only a fan and no A/C it is like a sauna. The hallway and common areas are much cooler and I noticed other rooms had large windows, so it might just be room 7 that has an issue. There was an unpleasant smell upon arrival but I purchased some deodorizer and it seemed to help.
