Other than the hot water in the shower, there was nothing to like! The bed was not comfortable-- and the headboard had grimy handprints on it (sent pics to the point of contact number, never met a person and the reception is only available from 2pm-5pm. No one was even available the day we arrived due to 'personal reasons.') The air conditioning did not work, no access to the beautiful patio, pages of "Don't Do" lists taped on the wall (hard not to be paranoid...how would someone know if we are blow drying socks?) One tiny roll of cheap toilet paper and no tissues for two people. No bathmat, and an upcharge if you over-dirty something. Extra charges for toilet paper and soap if one should need more than what was pitifully supplied. The worst part was the horrific smell from the bed linens. Not sure if it was detergent, softener, or disinfectant, but whatever it was, it caused a severe allergic reaction that has taken over thirty hours to subside!! And, a very dangerous toilet seat that wasn't properly maintenanced. Had we not been exhausted, we would have left and gone elsewhere-- our stay was that bad. And to clarify, we have traveled a lot (multiple Caminos, dozens of countries, decades of travel.)
