The house is idyllic in beautiful olive groves. It is so peaceful and relaxing. The host Cilia is lovely, helpful, and friendly. We enjoyed chatting to her. We hope to be back for another visit later this year!

“A very calm, peaceful retreat; heart warming & soul pleasing.”

A very peaceful stay. The surroundings & location are beautiful - we especially loved the olive trees, hidden seating spots & watching the swallows flit about all day & evening, even on the patio. Be sure to enjoy the stars at dark. Very cosy & comfortable beds, a lovely pit stop spot on our Spanish East Coast road trip. We also loved eating al fresco for all our meals.

To be improved

Could have been advised on using the gas heater or wood burner as in April with tiled floors it got quite cold at night. We had our own toiletries but some body wash for the shower would have been nice. A microwave would also be handy. While we understood the pool was not ready for use, I didn't know this until arrival. Would have been good to know beforehand, maybe I missed this?

Rural location. Rustic setting and accommodation. Quiet.

To be improved

Gas cooker was very slow to work. There was no oven equipment (e.g. grill pan, roasting tin etc). Having said that, I don’t think the gas supply would have been adequate to heat the oven properly.

Really quiet and peaceful, yet near the beach for sun worshippers. The hosts were extremely friendly and a great help. Perfect place to switch off and enjoy a simple lifestyle.
