“A unique, extraordinary, wonderful place”
The best

A unique, extraordinary, wonderful place in the Reserva Ecologica. An escape from the stresses and strains of modern life, and an opportunity to breathe, to relax, to take in the natural surroundings. A spacious and comfortable traditional house, with small playground for children and ample swimming pool. Multiple locations for eating, inside or outside. And terrific, attentive staff.

To be improved

The lake was very low when we visited. Not the venue's fault, of course, and it was at the end of a hot, dry summer, but a sad reminder of the impact of the climate crisis.

The best

The house is just spectacular, as is the location. A real luxury to be in nature, and yet with so much comfort. The host is very helpful, and quick at attending any need or problem

To be improved

Nothing really. A few notes for fellow travellers: The house can get cold and humid in winter if it is not inhabited prior. It was nice that they lit up the fire before we arrived, but it would have been nice to have a couple of proper extra blankets at night (given there is no heating/airco for environmental protection purposes). Shopping is quite a ride away, and the tap water is not drinkable - so plan in consequence!
