Las Meninas Tenerife

Very clean, well equipped apartment in a good location. Close to restaurants and bars and a short walk to the sea front. Also close to a bus stop for places such as Los Cristianos and the airport. The owners were very responsive, accommodating and friendly. We would recommend the apartment.

Located in a quiet town, which we preferred as we were visiting relatives nearby Los Abrigos. We stayed in April so the weather was nice and mild, the heated swimming pool wasn’t overcrowded and the best choice for our little ones. There are lifts/elevators to go up the apartment. The place was modern, clean and provided every little thing we needed for the stay. The hosts were very accomodating esp with our very late check in.

The apartment is truly wonderful – just like someone already mentioned in their review, it’s better than the photos. It is spacious, comfortable, stylish and really well equipped – it doesn’t have that “soulless” feeling often experienced in apartments, intended for short-term rentals; it feels warm and welcoming. What I particularly appreciated were the little things: extra bags for rubbish bin, cotton ear buds, sunblock, aluminium foil and plastic food wrap... everything that cannot be counted as “essentials” and you usually need to buy or bring your own with you. Perhaps it’s just me but I really found those things as a big bonus. Wifi works well, TV has 1000+ channels, you also have Netflix. The bed is excellent – I slept like a log 😊 The pool is great, it wasn’t all that crowded (January) and there are enough sunbeds. As for the neighbourhood – if you’re the partying kind, then maybe this neighbourhood is not for you. It is more on the quiet side but you do have two Irish pubs with daily live music at walking distance. There are several supermarkets a few minutes on foot away (open till late) and they are stocked well enough, otherwise you also have larger stores a short drive away. Parking is on the street (free); if you arrive late in the evening you might have to drive around a bit but we always managed to find a spot. All in all, if your travelling style is like ours (independent, self-catering, car renting, beyond partying years), Las Meninas is a perfect choice.
