The house is old, needs some renovation. Every step you take in the upstairs rooms can be heard very loudly in the downstairs rooms. On top of that, we had other problems: the electricity goes out dozens of times a day every time you want to use any appliance, like a hairdryer or the coffee machine, the upstairs bathroom was unusable on the first night because it was flooded, and the water leaked through the wall into the downstairs room and smelled like mold and moisture for a few days. The host reacted quite promptly and fixed the problems, but the smell persisted for several days. Wifi only works in the house, not outside.

It does need a little TLC, shower in the downstairs en suite, tiles around the pool etc

The view was spectacular, however if you are not a confident driver do not book this villa. The road to the villa is steep and narrow in parts. The villa is very dated and it is obvious the owners had not invested in the property for a long time. The kitchen was very dated with many of the drawers sticking and the oven knobs broken. The bathrooms were dated and the shower head in the lower ensuite was broken. The wall lights had many of their covers broken. The pool area needs to be painted and the tiles fixed. The railings need to be painted or replaced. There was no information provided on the area of how the washing machine etc worked. A local taxi number would be handy as there is no place to walk for eating out/shops. This meant that we had to have a designated driver at all times. The remote for the TV did not allow you increase the volume and although we repeated asked about this the management agent did nothing, this may have been a communications issue. It was a smart tv so we ended up downloading an app on our phone to control the TV. The electric gates stuck a couple of times which was dangerous as the access to the villa was on a bend.
