“Don’t recommend. The church bells are awful!!!!”

It was quirky on first viewing. It was in the village we needed to stay in.

To be improved

The proximity of the property to the church. It is literally a few feet away, and the church bells chime very loud, twice every hour (24 times at midnight) and once every half hour. This leads to absolutely no sleep, which was awful. The breakfast was very basic and next to a damp walk with flaky paint. The coffee was like warm , the “hot” water for tea was cold. The beds were very small. Air conditioning did not work. The shower had stains and broken tiles. Damp walls and repairs needed in lots of areas. We had to move accommodation, otherwise we would have had no sleep or rest, at all for a week. We couldn’t even have an afternoon siesta due to the bells. We would never stay here again.

We loved our stay and the breakfast was the best! Peter is a wonderful host and helped us a lot. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place.

The best

Peter and Irene are great hosts, the room was lovely and comfortable and we enjoyed a good breakfast . We chose it because it was dog friendly and weren't disappointed as we were all made to feel welcome .Also the pool was a bonus . We would definitely recommend it to people looking for a dog friendly break .
